Terri Byrd For Israel — Furnishing Families of Texas

Hello Friends!

As you may know, Furnishing Families of Texas is a subset of Furnishing Families International! We have focused primarily on our region but feel called to impact the world.

Our very own Family Services Social Worker and Outreach Chaplain Terri Byrd will be returning to Israel this September, and we wanted to invite our network to help support this work. She will be going again for a 3-month time period to begin setting up her project Goshen Megan Israel and to assist in helping set up trauma clinics in collaboration with local organizations.

She recently received her ordination credentials from Lance Wallnau Ministries and is exploring clergy visa status with various organizations and ministries in Israel. Her ultimate goal is to live there on a permanent basis.

This trip will allow her to both serve its residents and continue to build long-term relationships with partnering ministries and organizations for when she transitions to living there full time in the near future.

She believes that like Queen Esther she is being sent "for such a time as this." The nation has had years of war and turmoil and needs healing from so much trauma and tragedy. To learn more about her work, you can click HERE.

The photos above are from Terri's first trip to Israel in December of 2023 for the Hope and Healing Tour through FIRM (Fellowship of Israel Related Ministries), an organization that partners with 70+ different ministries throughout the nation of Israel. On this trip, Terri's team ministered to the physical and spiritual needs of soldiers and refugee families and children.

Most notable was her visit to Be'eri after the military assault had just occurred on October 7th 2023, where Israel sustained over 1200 casualties, and 240 hostages were taken. It was the most concentrated attack on Jews since the Holocaust.

Terri Byrd is the Outreach Chaplain and Family Services Social Worker for Furnishing Families of Texas, a subsidiary of Furnishing Families International.
