Our First Family Served: Tylynn and De’Marcus Richards

“My first impression of Annabelle was that she was happy and excited," said Tylynn Richards.
Tylynn and her son De’Marcus were the first family that Furnishing Families of Texas helped. Tylynn had just moved into her apartment. Mission Arlington gave her a tiny couch and Annabelle's phone number. Annabelle showed up at Tylynn's door on April 20, 2018.

"Annabelle made me feel so comfortable! We felt a rush of joy and peace. She brought us beds. De'Marcus had never slept in a bed before. She prayed for us and prayed for my neighbor who had just lost his apartment. Since that day, EVERYTHING has changed in our lives! One of the big things I have learned from her is about a prayer life. She will stop right where she is and start praying."

What has changed since that day?
